  • My name is John and I have been practicing acupuncture and massage since 2010. After serving as a marine for over 18 years I discovered there was a definite requirement for a service offering both acupuncture combined with massage.

Over the last 12 years I have studied acupuncture and its benefits. There are a variety of procedures to aid recovery including Auricular acupuncture which includes NADA acupuncture and Battlefield acupuncture.

I also carry out Cupping and Gua Sha procedures which are helpful in alleviating stagnant energy and increase circulation and can help alleviate inflammation.

I firmly believe we should look after our body and mind and exercise is essential to keep us fit and healthy so apart from providing alternative treatments I also offer personal training sessions.

what we provide

  • Soft tissue release (STR) is a hands-on manual therapy technique used to assess and treat the tissue of the body. The soft tissues of the body (muscle, tendon, fascia and ligaments) are prone to acute and chronic injury, which leads to swelling, adhesions and fibrosis (scarring) of the tissue.

  • Cupping is a type of complementary therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is thought to increase the flow of energy in the body and assist healing.

Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

  • IASTM refers to a technique that uses instruments to remove scar tissues from injured soft tissues and facilitate healing process through formation of new extracellular matrix proteins such as collagen.
